ASPR strategized and executed communications efforts to help raise the profile of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), a nonprofit organization that works with the global education community to accelerate the use of technology to solve tough problems and inspire innovation. Its worldwide network believes in the potential technology holds to transform teaching and learning.

This work involved telling the story of ISTE’s annual conference, the world’s most influential education technology event and managing all media relations connected to it. Other efforts have focused on the introduction of new initiatives, such as an online review platform, online professional learning and updated education technology standards. We also helped announce the organization’s new CEO.

ASPR introduced new PR approaches for ISTE, such as promoting an ISTE-published book via a school demonstration event and news segment, highlighting state efforts to advance education technology, and creative back-to-school news approaches. We also secured an interview on a Fox affiliate with a Pixar director who presented at an ISTE educator workshop.

ISTE’s visibility continues to reach new levels of success, including coverage in NPR, Forbes and Education Week.
