The ASPR team serves as communications advisor to ACT, which administers The ACT, the widely used college admissions test. This effort focuses on ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning, which is committed to closing gaps in equity, opportunity and achievement for underserved populations and working learners by furthering ACT’s mission of helping people achieve education and workplace success.
ASPR has helped share the Center’s message through op-eds in The Hill and USA Today as well as news coverage of studies in Education Week, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and other outlets.
Previously, ASPR engaged with ACT’s Brand Marketing, and Policy, Advocacy and Government Relations groups to provide insights and support for their responsibilities. We supplemented the Washington, D.C.-based senior managers in serving as the eyes and ears for the nonprofit, especially as it relates to the media. We also worked to raise visibility of ACT’s research as well as college and career readiness initiatives.
